It’s week fifty of my series The Wednesday Pants (TWP) where I feature a different white pants outfit every week for a year. What a hectic day! If I have done this right and finally worked out how to schedule a post this is going live as I am on a plane flying home from Melbourne. Dontcha just love technology? I was down south for work today but as soon as this flight lands I’m jumping in a cab and heading straight to the local pub to see The Enabler’s hubby’s band ‘The Band Down Under’ compete in the second round of Liverpool Idol. And yes I will be dragging my luggage along! So instead of showing you another outfit that I wore to work I thought I might take The Wednesday Pants a little rock chick and show you what I’m wearing to the pub. I know, I know, white pants, a pub and a rock band is an unlikely combination and if I’m honest I would be much more comfortable in my jeans but it is Wednesday and I have to stay true to this challenge to wear TWP no matter what my Wednesday’s throw at me. I’ve made it this far and I’m not about to give up with only two weeks to go! So I summoned my inner rock chick, popped on some dark sunnies, stacked on some tough accessories, got my tatts out and cracked a ‘peace and pout’ which kind of looks a bit incongruous in the sunshine in these pics but I had to take them ahead of time given my hectic schedule! Although I think I might have gone just a tad overboard on the rings lol. Read on for all the details … 

It’s week forty nine of my series The Wednesday Pants (TWP) where I feature a different white pants outfit every week for a year. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather over the last two days and I’m well and truly over sniffling, snuffling and sinus pain. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery! I’m going a bit military today in olive green. Like the orange last week, it’s not a colour I wear often but to keep bringing you fresh looks with the same white pants I’m being forced to step outside my comfort zone. I picked up this jacket on my recent trip to Hawaii and it is normally more casual than I would wear to work but I went there anyway and given I didn’t have it on sitting at my desk all day I think I just about got away with it. It helped not to have any external meetings! The down side was that the jacket didn’t offer much warmth as Sydney’s temps dipped again today. I tried this with a bunch of shoe/bag combinations before I settled on the burgundy. I think it works but would love to know your thoughts. Read on for all the details … 

It’s week forty eight of my series The Wednesday Pants (TWP) where I feature a different white pants outfit every week for a year. It’s getting towards the pointy end of the series and I’m kinda out of inspiration this week. Ever have days like that? I really struggled to pull something together. Add to this some tricky August weather which consists of sub 5c mornings but tops of 21c in the middle of the day makes finding an outfit that I’ll be comfortable in all day that much harder. Anyhoo, I ended up with citrusy orange. Orange is not a colour I wear often. In fact I only own one other orange item which I wore here. I think it’s quite a tricky to style but I like how it sits against both grey and beige and the white really sets it off. I ended up having to add an extra layer in the form of a cardigan as today was particularly frosty. Bring on summer I say! Read on for all the details … 

It’s week forty seven of my series The Wednesday Pants (TWP) where I feature a different white pants outfit every week for a year. It’s August which means only one more month of winter to go! WooHoo! I’m seriously ready to welcome summer back! If you are a regular reader you will know I’m a sucker for baby blue and am particularly partial to a cardi. This week I’m combining my two loves with this fabulous cardigan from Rosegal. If you are not familiar with them you should be! They have an awesome range of clothing, shoes, jewellery, accessories and even vintage inspired at prices you won’t believe. This cardigan was only $11!!! I also took my new Tory Burch tote out for it’s first outing today. I’m officially in love! Not only is the colour gorgeous but it held EVERYTHING I needed to carry for work with no qualms. Including laptop and shoes! The only sour point this week was the wind blowing a gale while trying to take photos. It’s amazing there are any shots where my hair was not whipped into a frenzy! It’s week forty six of my series The Wednesday Pants (TWP) where I feature a different white pants outfit every week for a year. I got home from Hawaii on Monday night and was straight back to work on Tuesday. After two days back it’s almost like “What Holiday?”. It’s still really cold in Sydney but luckily I have a nice new down coat to keep me warm. I love the purple colour but my eldest son (Mr 23) is not a fan. In fact he proclaimed it “chat”. When I protested he went a step further and said it was “the most chatest thing he has ever seen me wear”. Oh well I guess you can’t please everyone all the time. Just to double up on the girly shades I have paired it with my new fuschia Michael Kors tote which I picked up on sale while in Hawaii. Read on for all the details …

This week I’m in beautiful Hawaii and I can’t tell you how great it feels to feel the sunshine on my skin again. The best bit? I can ditch the heavy layers and wear this floaty summer dress. I’ve been wanting to do a dress over pants look for some time but I hadn’t found the right dress until now. The lovely people at Showinbuy approached me a while ago for a collaboration and I’m so glad they did. I love the cut out details in the arms. My only complaint would be that I wish it came in an XS and this small is a bit big which is why I decided to cinch it with a metal hoop belt. Read on for all the details …

Sydney’s shivering and Europe’s sweltering, and yet there are still some who refuse to believe climate change exists! Jack Frost has descended on Sydney big time this week and to say I’m not happy about it is an understatement. A friend told me it was -2c at the station at 6am this morning. I was running a little late today and didn’t get there until 8am when it was a balmy 3c! I’m bringing out the big guns this week to beat the cold, which has me looking decidedly like the Michelin Man but hey sometimes you have to compromise style for substance! Read on for all the details …
