I’m in Melbourne again this week and the forecast says it will reach 29c today so I’m dressing light accordingly. It’s an early post today given I’ll be traveling home tonight and I haven’t ventured outside yet but I’m hoping mother nature delivers on expectations otherwise I could be freezing all day long lol. Obviously these photo’s were taken at home before I left but I promise I’m wearing exactly this! I used the new camera for the first time ever for these photos and so far I’m loving it! Mr SFH has been practicing a lot more since these photo’s were taken and wanted me to delete them all so he could take better ones lol. Time didn’t allow so I’m going with these anyway. I’m still learning how to crop them properly so pics below are a bit all over the place today but bear with me and I’m sure I’ll get there! I don’t normally wear a lot of pink (especially bright pink) but I’m going there this week and balancing it with neutrals. Read on for all the details …
Disaster has struck TWP this week and I seem to be missing a button from the pocket. Given that I only noticed this dilemma this morning there was not a lot I could do about it but I’ll have to make sure I fix them by next week. That will be the second fix it job I’ve had to do already! I’m not confident that they are going to last 52 given we are only in week 9! Anyway I’m dragging a couple of items from the back of the wardrobe this week. I haven’t worn these shoes or the bag for ages. It’s almost like having something new 🙂 I had never worn leopard before I got this shirt a week ago but I am now a complete convert. I’m loving my Portofino Shirt, however Mr SFH is not convinced. I can’t believe I have actually been able to come up with eight looks! Who would have thought it? I’m in Melbourne again and I’ve been down here on conference since Monday. It’s freezing and overcast again but I’m flying home tonight to some nicer weather (hopefully!). I’ll be so glad to get back to my own bed after a very busy three days. Another day in the North Sydney Office today with a quick trip across the bridge for lunch with The Enabler. Once a month we are “ladies who lunch”. Such a special dining companion warrants a very special pair of shoes so I’m pulling out the big guns today. I wouldn’t normally wear these to work but it’s clear the Prada’s are the stars of the show today as I mix high end and high street. Read on for all the details …
I’m back in Melbourne and posting early today as I have a bit to do tonight and I’m not sure I’ll have the time! My thoughts are with all those in my home town (Mr SFH included!) that have been affected by Sydney’s wild weather over the last two days. Stay safe people! The Melbourne weather is not great either but luckily for me I don’t have to spend too much time in the elements because I have a work offsite today right underneath the Crown Towers where I’m staying so I can pretty much cocoon myself in air conditioned comfort, except for brief interludes outside, (read smoke breaks!) where the coat will go on. The dress code for the event is ‘Business Casual’ which means I’ve had to come up with something a little different for TWP and I think pairing them with a fun pair flats is the perfect solution. I feel like I’m channeling “Where’s Wally” a little this week with the stripes ‘n’ all. Given the nod towards the masculine bent (not that Wally was that macho!), I’ve raided Mr SFH’s wardrobe again this week. The mini enablers have deemed him to be ‘fashion’ (high praise indeed from a 5yo and 8yo!) so why not? I daresay it won’t be the last time 🙂 … Read on to find out what I came up with this week …
After two cracking days of spring sunshine today was dramatically cooler than I was expecting and a bit of early drizzle added to the appeal … Not! A relatively normal day in the North Sydney Office with a pub lunch with some great co-workers thrown in … Ate way too much but who can resist a chicken schnitzel right? I really struggled this week to come up with something interesting, to the point that I ended up trying on just about everything in my wardrobe (it’s still all over the floor … argh!).
