Y’all know how much I love silver jewellery right? I wear silver toned (including white gold and platinum) jewellery almost exclusively. I very occasionally dabble in rose gold but I haven’t worn yellow gold in well over a decade. I love finding unique pieces and when I find a great new line I am always happy to share. Recently I discovered Bug Bee Boom jewellery online and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some of their fabulous pieces. Read on for all the details …
Bondi Lifestyle In St Kilda: Fresh Fashion Linkup 54
Y’all know I am a Sydney girl right? Despite my love of travel, I am biased passionate about my home town (read my tips on seeing Sydney like a local here) and I feel truly blessed to be living in one of the most gorgeous cities on the planet. Sydney style is synonymous with the beaches that surround our spectacular city (see more of my beach style here, here and here) so I am more than thrilled to be partnering with Bondi Lifestyle, a local brand that epitomises this lifestyle. You take take the girl out of Sydney but you can never take Sydney out of the girl so even though I’m frolicking (OK not really frolicking but it sounded good!) on St Kilda Beach just outside of Melbourne, I am still rocking my Sydney style. Ruby Lace Dress: Fresh Fashion Linkup 53
If you are a keen watcher of my side bar you will know that I just spent the long weekend in Melbourne and the Great Ocean Rd. While I was in town I was lucky enough to be invited to a colleagues birthday drinks and I wore this ruby lace dress from Express. I gotta tell you I was freezing! As I was getting dressed in the hotel The Hubs expressed his scorn on my outfit choice with a chuckle given the weather so of course I couldn’t back down. I did throw on a trench but it did little to fight the bitter wind and bare legs was not my smartest choice. Read on for all the details …
Black, White & Blue: Fresh Fashion Linkup 52
There are three things I rarely talk about here; sport, politics and religion. No matter what your personal allegiances are, the passion behind the belief is often so intense that there is the possibility to divide and that is never my intent. But today I am just so damn excited I’m going to break my unwritten rule because my beloved Cronulla Sharks have booked themselves a place in the NRL grand final for the first time since 1978. Well there was that thing in 1997 due to Super League but I don’t count that blip in the sports proud history and neither should you. For those that know nothing about NRL, this is huge for the Sharks. It’s a fantastic achievement for any team to make the GF but even more special for the Sharks who remain one of only two teams never to have won a premiership. Of course today (and let’s face it every day this week) I am wearing the black, white & blue with pride. Read on for all the details …
Coat Obsession: My 13 Best – Fresh Fashion Linkup 51
Sunday (photo day) was miserable in Sydney. It rained all day long so taking photos was out of the question. Well that’s not entirely true, I was prepared to stand in the rain (with an umbrella of course) but The Hubs was not. All that rain got me thinking about my coat obsession. I love coats and the ‘coat section’ of my wardrobe is stuffed to bursting. I have shared many of my favourites in the last two years of blogging and the rain out offered the perfect excuse for me to have a look back over these past posts. Read on for all the details …
Grey Mesh Crop Top: Fresh Fashion Linkup 50
Sunday (photo day) was hectic around my way. First up I had to deliver piping hot party food to the littlest mini enabler’s birthday bash because the venue did not have any heating facilities. I was a bit late after getting lost but the 20 odd 7yo party goers weren’t fazed. Afterwards I snapped these pics before whipping myself into a cleaning frenzy to ensure the house was fit for ‘company’. Next it was off to the shops to grab essential supplies while shoveling a drive-through cheeseburger down for sustenance. In the evening, great friends gathered for food and wine while we announced the winners of our annual footy tipping comp. My grey mesh crop top and black skinnies got me through cleaning the house in casual comfort but was still acceptable to front up at the two gatherings. Read on for all the details …
Olive Cowl Neck Top: Fresh Fashion Linkup 49
I have green eyes. For as long as I can remember people have been trying to get me to wear more green. Particularly olive green. I have resisted with a passion because it has never really been my thing. Until I saw this olive cowl neck top in Banana Republic which I had to have. I was drawn to the cut and soft draping immediately and I knew it would be perfect for the office. Read on for all the details …
Bright Yellow Wool Coat: Fresh Fashion Linkup 48
Remember my pink waterfall coat from last week? Well that wasn’t the only thing I bought from Ezibuy. I also picked up this rather bright yellow wool coat. I told you I had a coat obsession! This is no doubt a traffic stopper and somewhat reminds me of The Hubs’ high viz work gear. This is definitely not an outfit you want to wear if you are trying to blend into the background but when the weather is dreary sometimes you need a little lift and a pop of sunny yellow certainly does just that!
