Regular readers will know that I visit Melbourne frequently for business, in fact, I’m down there so often I am practically a local (read about my ultimate girls weekend here). Well, maybe not, but I have been enough times (roughly 100!) to have well and truly decided on my favourite place to stay. Last visit I was lucky enough to experience the opulent luxury of a Crown Towers Melbourne Deluxe Villa. Crown Towers caters to the discerning traveler and regardless of whether you are visiting for business or leisure, I just know you will love this hotel as much as I do. Read on for all the details …
Crown Towers Melbourne Deluxe Villa
When I’m in town for business I have to select from my companies preferred list, while Crown’s three hotels are all on the list, I always choose Crown Towers and because I stay there regularly, I often get treated to an upgrade and other perks. While the standard rooms are luxurious enough, my Crown Towers Melbourne Deluxe Villa has to be seen to be believed. The luxurious lounge is the centrepiece of my Villa. I’m sad to say that I was here on my own as this would be a great space to host a few friends. Sweeping views across the river are the perfect back drop even on a grey day and neutral plush carpets and leather couches add the perfect touch of refinement. Of course everyone needs a dedicated dining room and bar area in their hotel room don’t they? Well they might not need it but it sure is nice to have it! The perfect space to enjoy a selection or two from the extensive room service menu. The king size bed dominates the roomy bedroom and business travelers are well catered for with an additional desk tucked in the corner. Closet space is plentiful and the thick drapes ensure complete block out to stop pesky early morning sun disturbing your slumber. While the red marble in the bathroom would not be my first choice of colour scheme, you cannot deny that every element in the spacious bathroom screams luxury. You could lose hours soaking in the mammoth tub, complimented of course by designer toiletries from Salvatore Ferragamo. The view is not bad either! The little touches such as fresh flowers, complimentary snacks, dedicated elevators and designer toiletries make it feel very special but at around $1500 a night it is definitely a splurge! For a great deal on accommodation check out Agoda.
As you would expect from a 5 star establishment, Crown Towers Melbourne does not skimp on the amenities. A world class gym, swanky pool and tennis courts are all present and accounted for but make sure you check out the Crown Spa during your visit. As soon as you walk in the doors you know you are in for a special treat. The Pure Gold Radiance Facial is pricey but worth every cent. My skin has never felt so good. Simply amazing! And did I mention you are directly above the Crown Casino? I’m not a big gambler but I usually through a tenner in the machines while I am here. Restaurants abound in the Crown complex and Nobu is one of my favourites. When it’s time to check out why not try the Melbourne Skybus to get you back to Tullamarine with ease.
Planning to visit Melbourne? Do you think you will spurge on a Crown Towers Melbourne Deluxe Villa while you are there. Go on! You won’t be sorry!

Wow I am absolutely drooling all over this blog post hahah. This suite looks UNREAL! I mean at $1500 a night, it better be, right? The view from the lounge is so gorgeous and I love that tiny bowl of macarons. When it comes to big luxurious properties like this, I always love finding those little touches. awesome 🙂

I know the price right! But it was very nice and I can see it being justified for a very special occasion. It would be great to share with a few friends for New Years Eve ?.

WOW! What a beautiful place. And the bathroom! I agree about the curtains. Need to keep the morning sun out in the summer months. I had never thought of staying in the same place for treats such as upgrades. I normally like to try out as many places as possible but this is one tip I will keep in mind.

I’m hearing you Kathy when I travel for leisure I often try new places but when I’m working I like to know what I am getting each time to keep it simple and Crown Towers has always been exceptional.

Holy moly, that hotel looks amazing! I can definitely imagine you had a wonderful stay there, although it must´ve been a bit lonely in such a big room just like you said. Nonetheless, it looks truly wonderful and the spa treatment too!
Sydney Fashion Hunter says
The biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in by far Manon! I could live here ?

Wow that looks so incredibly luxurious! Gotta love a free upgrade. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself all alone in that big, fancy room! I will keep this is mind next time I am in Melbourne for sure. Great photos.

I was a bit lost Kari. If I was in my hometown I would have invited my bestows over for wine in a heartbeat lol

I’m just enamored by the view! I agree with your assessment of the bathroom — while luxurious I think gray or a nude marble would have been a better choice. Is there an executive lounge in the hotel? Not that you need it necessarily because the villa is so nice, but I’m just curious. 🙂
Sydney Fashion Hunter says
Exactly My thoughts Star but to each their own I guess I’m sure a lot of people love it! Yes there are a few lounges and access is dependent on your level of status in their Signature Club. I have access to the Teak Lounge which I have featured here https://flightstofancy.com/girls-weekend-in-melbourne/ It’s fabulous!

Looks absolutely gorgeous! I wouldn’t even want to move to the bed – I’d be happy just to sleep in the lounge with that view! Looks like they treat their guests very well.
Sydney Fashion Hunter says
Yes they do Juliette. I love it there. It’s almost my second home ?

Wow! This would be great for a girls weekend for sure! Although I really hope you made time to use that bathtub! It looks absolutely incredible! I can’t say I’ve ever received a complimentary upgrade before- how did you go about doing that? Thank you 🙂
Sydney Fashion Hunter says
It sure would! Pity I was by myself! I go there a lot Deni so they tend to look after they frequent guests where they can and have vacancies. I wish I could say it was every time but it’s always a lovely surprise when it happens.

I’m too amazed at how amazing that all looked to know what to say… I suppose if I summed it up in one word, it’d be jealousy! This looks like an amazing place to stay. I think I’d want to just stay in the bath tub the whole time though…..

It was very special Caitlin. I only wish I could afford to stay at places like this all the time ?
