My first visit was at 13 with my Mum a billion years ago and I fell in love with the relaxed vibe, beautiful weather, friendly locals, stunning scenery and more recently the shopping. There are certain hotels along world famous Waikiki beach that every traveller invariably considers while choosing accommodation and the Sheraton Waikiki is almost certainly one of those. Although I’m back in Sydney I couldn’t resist one last Hawaii post. And I’ve saved the best until last. The Shopping! In years gone by (when the Aussie dollar was performing better against the greenback) I have headed to Hawaii solely to shop because you were always guaranteed a better deal than could be found on our shores.
