The Wednesday Pants #18 – Sunny Yellow

January 14, 2015

Sydney Fashion Hunter: The Wednesday Pants #18 - Sunny Yellow

It’s been a crappy week of weather in Sydney which necessitated taking photos in the rain. While today has been the best day all week so far there is more rain coming our way tomorrow and Friday. The good news is it is expected to clear up for the weekend … Yay! Sooooo what to do when the weather is so unpredictable? Dress in sunny yellow and carry an umbrella at all times! … Read on for all the details …

This week I wore …

  • TWP – Nuff said. Buy similar here, here or here.
  • Witchery Silver Tank
  • SES Fashions Cardigans – I’ve been wanting to do this with TWP for some time but have been struggling to style it. I’ve pretty much tried it in with every top I own and was not happy with any of the combos until this one.
  • Upper Street Yellow Snakeskin Sandals – I realise that they may not look like a sensible choice for a wet day but the sun was mostly shining plus I do have transit shoes and am quite skilled at negotiating puddles!
  • Grey Saba Belt – I was literally hunting for this for about two years and stumbled across this one very much by accident. I even approached a few leather stores in Bali while I was there to see if they could make me one with no luck. I still cannot find anything similar online after extensive searching so your own your own with this one.
  • Tiffany T Cut Out Ring
  • Mabe Pearl Pendant on White Gold Omega Necklace – I bought the pendant at a market in Brisbane for $20 about 15 years ago with The Reality Checker. I always get asked about it when I wear it.Omega chain from North Sydney Jewellers at about the same time.
  • Chanel Boy Bag – I know, I know, that it’s two weeks in a row that this has featured but I tried about 5 different bags and I really didn’t like any of the combos as much as this one so indulge me please 🙂
  • Gucci Watch – About 10 years old
  • Swarovski Stardust Bracelet
  • White Gold Princess Diamond Bezel Studs – I had these designed by National House Jewellers in Bondi Junction for my 30th birthday. I wear them almost every single day. They are classic and go with everything! I had a real hard time finding a similar item online … there are heaps of princess cut studs but not a lot that are bezel set.
  • Silver Umbrella – I don’t even know what brand this is I bought it on impulse from a Chemist in Melbourne.
  • Scent of the Day – Versace Bright Crystal.
