It’s a skirt! Yes I know I hardly ever wear skirts but sometimes a change is as good as a holiday right? When the good people at Romwe offered to gift me an item to feature I figured I would step outside my comfort zone. I’ve been looking at pleated midi skirts for a while and this black jacquard skirt really caught my eye. Read on for all the details …




 

Romwe Jacquard Skirt

This black jacquard skirt is lovely! I was genuinely surprised by the quality considering the price (currently only $14!). The fabric is thick and structured and holds it’s shape beautifully. The one thing I will say is that the sizing is a little off. I usually wear a XS-S and I ordered a medium but it was still really, really snug! I would have been much more comfortable in a large. Take heed of the sizing guide and don’t make any assumptions! I decided to go all classic black with such an elegant skirt and couldn’t resist adding my favourite Chanel pumps. I amped up the wow factor a notch with some bling in my accessories. If you haven’t already discovered Romwe you need to check out their huge range and minuscule prices. Go!

  13. Love this on you! I enjoy seeing you in a skirt too. It is fun to get out of ones comfort zone right, and one may discover someting they liked without knowing. The fit and flare is such a perfect fit on you and I also really love silver jewelry! Silver and black are a great combo.

    • Thank so much Jess. My grandmother used to tell me a story about when she was a young woman getting ready to go out. As a new bride she only had two ‘going out’ outfits and she would always asks my grandad as she was getting ready should I wear my black and silver or my cerise. He always said black and silver. This would have been the mid 1920’s. Classic then. Classic now. Nana would be proud of me ?
