Fringed Bag 3 Ways: Fresh Fashion LinkUp 22

March 2, 2016

Sydney Fashion Hunter: Fresh Fashion Forum #23 - Fringed Bag Three Ways

This week you are getting three looks for the price of one! I’ve teamed up with a couple of other Aussie bloggers to each style a fabulous fringed bag. Inspired by the movie The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants, I thought it would be fun to send an item on a road trip across Australia and collaborate with my fellow bloggers. The India cross body bag from Sash & Belle is perfect as it is versatile enough for each of us to style in our own unique way. Between the three of us we have the three eastern Australian states of NSW, Victoria and Queensland covered. If you were to drive between our homes you would cover nearly 2000klm’s and it would take almost 20 hours but our traveling bag did it a little easier with the assistance of Australia Post. Read on for all the details …

Sash & Belle India Fringed Bag

The India cross body bag is a cute additional to any fashionista’s arsenal. Sash & Belle is an Australian company based in Canberra who make on trend bags at a great price. I’ve been a fan for a while and featured another of their bags in my recent double leopard post. I was away last weekend (again!) and even though I fastidiously selected all the accessories I wanted to wear, somehow they never made it into my suitcase. Seriously! You would think I would have learned from the last time but apparently not! Anyhoo, I borrowed some earrings from The Enabler and had to make do with that! Later in the day we popped into the local town and I bought a watch and a necklace that would have been perfect but The Hubs was on the beers by then and not keen on re-taking these photos. This is what happens when the help works for love and not money, you have to cut them some slack every now and then!

I love the fringed bag! Crossbody bags are so practical, I use one whenever I’m not working…if I just need to carry my phone and purse around they are perfect. I can’t stand a big bag slipping off my shoulder while I’m carrying bags of shopping or running after the little one. You’ve now got me thinking…if I own a fringed bag and I’m starting to remember bags I haven’t used for ages!

Couldn’t agree more Emma! They are absolutely my go to for everyday. The great thing about this one is the strap is adjustable so if you want to wear it shoulder style you can shorted the strap and away you go!

I’m currently in the mood for fringe as well and am lusting after a grey fringed handbag from the Danish brand Adax. If I get the new job I’ve interviewed for, the bag is going to be mine…
