Hi there and welcome to another week of Fresh Fashion Forum. I’m back at work this week (booo!) but I couldn’t resist one last post from my all too short break. I wore this simple monochrome outfit to The Enablers house on Christmas Eve and while it is supposed to be summer in Sydney, mother nature must have missed the memo because the temps of late have not been swim worthy which is disappointing in this lovely poolside setting. Whenever my friends little girls (who we affectionately call the Mini Enablers) are around for blog photos, they insist on being a part of the action and hey they are just too cute not to agree. There is nothing quite as classic as black and white but it can get a little boring, so it’s fun to play with details to add an edge to the look. That’s where my asymmetric halter top comes in. I grabbed this from The Iconic for a measly $27! The hemline adds just enough interest to keep this outfit from being boring and predictable. While this outfit could easily be dressed up for the office or a dinner on the town, I kept it casual for a BBQ by adding the wedges and some funky jewellery.
